Two Birds

The outlook from my lounge window at home is nowhere nearly as wonderful as it is from here, and I would certainly never see pheasant wandering across the garden. I was thrilled to see this pair, who were here for at least an hour, pecking away in the grass for food.
We are back to drizzly rain today worst luck, and I have been in the kitchen preparing my meal for Boxing Day, roast gammon joint and bubble and squeak. .... About to get into a book I brought with me 'Cutting for Stone'....Hope you are all enjoying your day too.....Did anyone watch 'Gavin and Stacey' last night? It left me open mouthed!!
