It's a shame to mock a dog
But it's also irresistible once in a while. Flora in the snowmen deely boppers which have been kept for Christmas time for about 20 years. Cameraman's Christmas present was a superior dog grooming kit and Flora has already been introduced to the snazzy clippers. Not that you can tell from the blip.
Thank you to everyone who sent festive greetings yesterday. We had a lovely Christmas Day though Cameraman had to make a heroic effort. The girls were on great form. The baby is crawling now and was very cheery all day. The four year old was bursting with excitement and held up well till the end of the day when she took on that rather pallid look that overcooked children get at Christmas. Thank goodness for Toy Story 4 which was watched after we left.
Our son cooked an exceptional meal for us and is doing the same again today for the girls mum's family. We did a video call to Poland and saw the baby boy enjoying Christmas with his mum, dad and Polish family. He too is about to crawl so things are going to be interesting when they're all here.
We all had some generous gifts and enjoyed giving and receiving. I hope that all blippers had a similarly enjoyable day.
Boxing Day sees us having a quiet day at home. We're pottering, re-examining gifts, doing some prep for a busier day tomorrow and I've a feeling the TV will be turned on later.
