Reflected willows...
Freezing fog persisted all day...My walk along the river was silent. No thrushes singing today. Winter has firmly shut down any wavering signs of spring. The ground was iron hard, although in places the deceptive crust cracked to reveal pools of muddy water lurking beneath. Colour was in short supply, but even in the apparently monochromatic gloom, tones of purple, orange and green could be found.
