Preparations

My brother and I took Hamish and Buddy to Clarkes Point for a walk this morning.  Woolwich docks are just nearby so we pootled over to see the preparations for the Sydney to Hobart yacht race which started at 1 pm today.  This is Wild Oats which won line honours last year.  It is owned by the Oatley family and there were lots of supporters there today.  Just down the dock was Infotech which was first out of Sydney heads.  I believe Wild Oats is coming third behind Infotech and Comanche is in the lead.

Sydney was sparkling today with a strong Nor Easter keeping all the smoke away - back to Newie tonight.  Fingers crossed the roads are not chaos.
