Christmas Creature

Our Christmas tree is nature themed - if we're organized, the lower branches have sea creatures and creeping things, and we move up through mammals to flying  insects and birds, with a few heavenly bodies and stars at the top. (If we're not organized, they are randomly arranged). This little bird is one of the oldest, acquired 26+ years ago when we first moved to California, when the boys were sweet little things of 2 and 3 years old. He's lost some paint, and one wing has been re-glued several times, but it's always good to have him flying from a branch, sharing another Christmas with us.
