This was my dad, opening his present from my eldest - and we had just made him laugh.

Good day, the kids all seem happy with their gifts. The dinner went well, and I discovered a new recipe for brussel sprouts which was perfect. Caramalise onions - then place at bottom of a baking dish. Then cook the sprouts before mashing and laying on top of the onions. Add salt. Sprinkle with mozzarella and add to the oven for 7 minutes. Perfect.
