Not the usual Christmas day

With no children in the house we had a good lie in followed by a mid day brunch.
Dinner was late, we usually have our Christmas lunch early, and instead of the usual turkey we had a 3 bird roast courtesy of LIDL. It was delicious and the accompanying veg were exceptional, including lots of home grown but tiny Brussels sprouts.
We are planning a bit of an extravaganza next year but this one has (so far) been most enjoyable. Part 3 is next weekend.
