Surprise opening

Hubby cut the magnolia a couple of weeks ago and thought they would look nice in the jug, this morning we were surprised that a couple of the buds had started to open.
Lovely day with daughter, hubby and dogs. Cooked all morning, dogs playing and watching for squirrels. Hubby and daughter took dogs for long walk before dinner.
Now about to watch Call the Midwife, only because it was filmed in Outer Hebrides and we were there at the time.
Most relaxing Christmas Day ever, loved it.
