The Gathering

What a splendid evening we had....and a not too chaotic lead up too!!!

It was a low key day, Max decorated the tree, Randy kept Robin company and did piles of dishes from the day before!!!, Terry went shopping (his usual for Christmas Eve), I did whatever else needed doing.   Turkey was meant to be ready by 7 pm....but by 6.15 it was done!    So, into high action, get the veggies on, make the gravy, keep everything warm till we could get everything together!   Then 11 happy folks sat down to a very satisfying feast.

It was lovely to have Patrizia and Linus share their first Cape Breton Christmas with us, and Patrizia made the most delicious cheese cake!
