Peace on the water

In the far distance, if you peer closely, you can see the Statue of Liberty and, to her right, Ellis Island, where many of America’s immigrants (including my grandparents and great-grandparents) first came into the country. Here’s hoping that someday these symbols, and the things they represent, will once again move to the foreground of our republic.
