Hexes!

Had coffee with one of my best friends, Sue this morning. Chat chat chat chat!

Later this afternoon I spent a long time cutting more hexagons for my quilt. I need hundreds, and was homing in on enough when I realised that I didn't like about half of them. Well I do, but I don't think they go with the rest. Now I need more fabric and much more cutting!

During my extensive (and fruitless) Internet search for fabric to go with what I already had, I discovered that the duvet cover I am using which I bought in Oxfam just before Christmas is actually an original 1970's Mary Quant design! How exciting is that? Vintage Mary Quant!

Well, so you can see how I can't mix that up with anything that isn't perfect now, can I? So, thrifting again soon.
