As evening arrives and Christmas Day draws to a close in the Southern Hemisphere it is time to relax and reflect on a special and enjoyable day.


On Christmas Day, 1814, the Rev Samuel Marsden preached the first Christian service in Aotearoa New Zealand. 
This New Zealand Christmas Carol, Te Harinui, is based on that first service.
