Ta da!

Still feeling rough today but did manage to get the cake iced at last - I think this is the latest ever, yet I made it in October! I used hand gel on my hands and managed to keep my gems away from it I hope.
The laminate floors at the rectory are now in and looking good. Just need to get the house all cleaned up after the tradesmen and it will be ready for its new occupants at the end of next month.
Meanwhile, my family has gathered, my wee sister came up from Leeds on Saturday and tonight my niece and her daughter arrived (she's my other sister's daughter, so it's nice to be able to maintain that link with her). They moved to London earlier this year so we don't see so much of them. Ali came over for the evening too bringing Marvin and much jollity occurred although I went to bed early and left them to it.
Off to sleep now so that I don't surprise Santa on his rounds.
