When we were in Tassie in March we bought these e bikes which fold up so we can take them in the car or caravan. Most days we ride over to Kelso. We peddle and get a bit of a boost going up hill. Really handy in tight corners where there are people with dogs on leads when you don’t know what they are intending to do. It still gives you a work out but easier than normal bikes.

Had a visit from brother John today and we went to feed our son’s cats. Unfortunately one has disappeared ( someone left the door open) so hope he’ll be ok. We then went to our daughter’s place via the cemetery where Mum and Dad are. Home to make dessert for tomorrow and tea for tonight. We cracked the Christmas ham which we had with salad.

Brother John says our mother’s father’s maternal grandfather’s family came from Kelso in Scotland. So I’m just a bit Scottish. The family name was Davidson. What will I find out next?
