Didn’t go to plan

As a life long asthmatic I know when things aren’t Quite right so mid afternoon I drove myself to the GP’s and asked if I could be seen. I was seen very quickly, but expected to be home in half an hour with some steroids. I was wrong, and ended up being taken by ambulance to our local hospital. Superb care from start to finish in a very busy A&E, and a visit from Miss H, who brought some food and drink across having realised where we were. She’d just finished a 12 hour shift and was still in uniform - and wearing a much envied jacket. It seems North West Ambulance have better outdoor jackets than Yorkshire.

Pleased to report I am now Back home about 8 hours after leaving the house, sitting with my feet up relaxing .
