Flamingo

Flamingo-pink light
Unites clouds and sea
Warming the wintry scene.

The light at the front was astonishing for around 15 minutes this morning. I'd blipped icy scenes in the park and was heading home when I saw it. The tide was just beginning to turn but all was very still and cold, apart from gulls searching for food in the sand rivulets. The old pier hovers ghostly in the background.

Nearly rans were mirror and face-off but I think I've made the right choice.
