Eve of Christmas Eve

We met this little dog on our daily walk. She approached me with great caution but when I patted her she became enthusiastically happy.  Later, we visited our elderly neighbour and took a small gift.  She was watching the movie White Christmas and reluctantly turned the sound down when we arrived.  After a little chat, she turned the volume up again.  She loves the old Holywood classics when they are shown on TV and I guess she didn't want to miss this one.  After all, she can see us anytime.  A quick dash to the shopping centre to get some basics; it was full of screaming youngsters and some quite shouty parents.
