Enjoying the sunshine

An out patient hospital appointment in Newark this morning, nothing serious, wouldn’t have mentioned it, but I was just so impressed. This is the first time that I’ve visited this hospital.

The NHS gets lots of bad press these day, but from my first impressions on entering, to leaving within 30 minutes, it was a well managed quality service with friendly staff. Full marks.

A bonus from the trip was that we have worked out how to avoid the A1 junction which gets snarled up at times.

Neighbour E came over for coffee this afternoon.
