Scavenger Hunt

In track I decided to have a scavenger hunt with the kids. I cut out a bunch of shapes and nature things such as a stick, flower, cloud, bunny, parrot and this rainbow. The girls had a lot of fun and then I had them write in their journals about a time they either lost something or found something. I think journal writing and reflection is very important and a good habit to start early on with children. It lets them check in on themselves and reflect on their feelings. Which really helps mental growth (in my opinion)
