André Rieu in concert

What an amazing concert!

Today is the big day. We're going to see and hear André Rieu live in concert in the MECC in Maastricht.
We arrived around 12.30 and the concert will start at 15.00.
Prior to that there is a huge Christmas-market with ice-skating, music, and lots of things to eat. And everybody was welcomed by a Dickens character at the entrance. An instant 100% Christmas atmosphere.

At 15.00 sharp André entered the stage and played on until 18.00
Fantastic! Over 10.000 people but it didn't feel like that at all.

We had great seats, overviewing the whole ‘arena’. My parents were amazed by everything they saw and heard.
I think I can say the André gained 8 new fans this afternoon.

Ice-skating, 300 waltzing couples, snow, balloons, all came together in a magnificent show.

Before we knew it, it was 18.00 and the show was over.
By 19.00 we were well on our way home.
At 23.20 we arrived safely in Stadskanaal and 30 minutes later we were back home in Delfzijl.
