Christmas Party!!

So today was our Christmas party.  We had to go into work for a couple of hours but then headed off to Blackburn Rovers football club for the day.  Having only been in the role for 6 months I didn't know what to expect and certainly didn't know they had an annual awards ceremony!  Even more astounding is that out of the 330 people in the firm I was awarded 'Star Colleague'!

All the effort, long hours and hard work was recognised and I am going to give that little trumpet I keep hidden a 'toot toot'.

After 17 years in the same job, you do wonder how will you fit in a new environment but I've very humbled to know that people obviously feel I've stepped up to the challenge!

I am thrilled and can honestly say that I love my job!
