Guthrie Street steps

I hand delivered two of my nephews Christmas cards today. On the way from one to the other I noticed these steps again which were very much a part of my life when I first came to Edinburgh and worked in Tron Square Nursery.
Their worn uneveness conjures up all sorts of images of their popular use over the decades.
