Orange Fungus

A bit of a slow day... we started our annual jigsaw puzzle last night and got so engrossed it was almost 1 a.m. when we stopped. Hadn’t realised the time. We carried on with it today!

I went out to the woods with Finlay - he didn’t get his bath / shower yesterday, so getting muddy wasn’t a problem.

This little orange fungus, growing right on the edge of a log, was lit up in a spot of sunlight and caught my eye. It is tiny, about 1cm across.

A quick trip to Wetherby this afternoon to get a couple of bits which our daughter hadn’t been able to get - it wasn’t too painful!

More puzzling and some beers this evening - heading off to Doncaster tomorrow for the festivities.
