and temperatures stayed below freezing and misty all morning. There was some treacherous black ice underfoot but then some weak sun appeared. Down at the loch, as the sun came over the hill it lit the tops of the trees and highlighted the iced edges. Shallower lochans stayed frozen all day. This one is deeper, which is why the Osprey feeds here in summer.
