Staying with Alfie

I’m staying with Alfie the Beardie for Christmas and we had a lovely walk beside the reservoir this morning. Now we’re just about to go for our afternoon walk.

But do you know what?........... Ann isn’t coming with us. She’s going to stay overnight with her Bestie so they can have their annual hot tub party.

Ann’s sister, Sue, is going to look after me but I’ve never spent a night away from Ann before so I’m a little bit worried.

Ann says I’ve got to be on my bestest behaviour and she’ll be back to look after me tomorrow.
