Success

My terrible scone history is well documented. Anticipating a tricky work meeting later in the day, I decided a heroic bake was required. Plus I had nothing in the way of comfort food after yesterday’s decluttering ;)

They turned out amazingly well. So well in fact I accidentally ate four of them for breakfast! And that was just the confidence boost I needed as the meeting went well too! Hurrah for the holidays now.

I shall try another batch on Christmas Eve just to make certain.
