Travel back to Edinburgh today - left London at 9am and 427 miles later arrived in Edinburgh at 7pm. Another good journey, no major delays and a short spell of heavy rain near Lancaster.

Good wildlife spotting - jays & parakeets in Wimbledon, deer in Richmond Park, red kites around Oxfordshire, kestrels & buzzards, lots of great dogs at services and the mallards at Westmorland!

And the first thing we did when home? Put the kettle on for a cup of tea with Scotland’s lovely water!
