Chilly walk!

After a lunch by a roaring fire in the pub we ventured out for a short walk. It was very cold indeed with frost on the trees. No wonder the boats had smoke coming from their chimneys. There was only a thin layer if ice on the canal, but on top of that were tiny ice slithers that fell from the sky this morning.
