SHAG & MULLET/GOLF
Bird photography (I think) could be compared to golf ? You have some good shots and you have some bad shots. I've played both - and after all these years I can safely say I like the good bird shots I get rather than the Golf shots - I'm not denying that getting the ball in the hole for under par isnt a good feeling but being with nature makes me feel more alive.
My methodology is simple - I go out for about an hour ( hmm maybe 4-5 holes of golf time-wise ) - I usually go to the same places on the same tides and I'm fairly confident I can bag a " birdie" and this is one of them. I know you've seen a shag and mullet before, but you never forget you're really good shots. ( end of )
