A new bed

Might not look like much, but this picture represents a hard morning's work at the yard. All the old bedding was removed and a nice deep layer of sawdust put in. This is Lass's favourite type of bedding, she only ever lies down in her stable when there is sawdust. She was turned out in the field today when we came up to do this, so it will be a nice surprise for her when she comes in this evening, I know for a fact that the first thing she will do when she comes in will be to lie down and have a good roll!

It was very cold up at the yard, but all the mucking out and a big cup of hot chocolate helped!!
