Lavvu

Lavvu art installation is made of crocheted cotton table clothes. It stands on a raft in the river. The Lavvu is a symbol of our vulnerability. It is made by a women's network of immigrants who make textile, non-destructive street art called Housewife graffiti.

Lavvu is the Sami word for tipi.
