Christmas is coming

A bright, dry day

At church this morning for a lovely Carol Service. We were led to explore stories of Christian's celebrating Chistmas in lands such as Syria and Bhutan. It was humbling to see the courage of fellow believers in very dangerous situations. I was glad to be there after a week of serious back pain.

The Nativity scene was bought 20 years ago, surprisingly in South East Spain, while we were on holiday. It was in the days when you could happily have extra luggage on the plane! It is one of our favourite things about Christmas.
