Colour
Grey day, again.
Freezing fog.
Most of the shots are monochrome without trying.
So, having missed the bullfinches and their lovely pink breasts, I fall back on my other winter colour.
These toadstools were first spotted by my lovely wife whilst walking this path at the weekend. They are on an old hawthorn hedge disturbed by new drainage ditches trying [without success] to drain local fields. Until today the surrounding ground was too boggy to approach, but days of sub-zero temperatures and it's like concrete!
