Do you remember?

Mrs. K’s face lit up with a big smile this morning when we were shopping in our prize winning local farm shop and when she saw these on sale.

This series of little books was given to her when she was seven years old. Let me diplomatically say that was over seventy years ago.

She still treasures her original copies and there is no doubt that they were responsible for her life long love of wild flowers and of plantlife in general.

They were first published in 1923 and there are several different editions still in print.
