Christmas wreath

Having spent two or three days with the Christmas wreath living on my kitchen table, we finally sorted out a hook such that we could affix the Minx's creation to the front door. 

And when I say "we", it was actually she who did the actual hanging so not only has the wreath ended up looking wonderful, as expected, but I can also have confidence that it will remain in place. 

It was only today, though, that I got around to taking a photo of it in situ; it's been dark all the time I've actually been at home for the last few days. However, this morning I had a meeting at school, so I was able to take this photo when I went home to pick up the car and drive to the office.

Because this is the first time I've seen it up and in the light, I haven't noticed before that it looks like a smiley face!
