Summer Solstice....

It is high summer here in Marlborough, New Zealand. After a fairly quiet day I drove Maisie to the small Reserve beside the Opawa River, less than 10 minutes from home. We were there in time to see the sun slipping behind some trees and dropping below the distant horizon. I must say I thoroughly enjoy the early morning light and long summer evenings of this time of year. Maisie, with her boundless energy, made the most of our evening walk
