Fourth Advent Sunday

All the tea lights are now alight and for the photo surrounded with a ring of hydrangea flowers.  
We were up early to meet the lovely daughter at Nelson Airport.  She of course was up even earlier to board the plane in Christchurch.  We capitalised on the early start and hit the supermarket at opening time.  Then out to the fruit and veggie shop and further out to the berry farm.  On the return trip we called in at friends for coffee and enjoyed her Christmas baking treats.  
In the afternoon it was around to another friends for coffee and more Christmas baking.  
The day was very still and slightly warmer than yesterday but there was a lot of haze in the sky and I wonder if that is smoke particles from the Australian fires.  It did give the day an eerie feel.
