With the completion of the building of the wheel and the location of sufficient things to get the front light mounted I was able to snip and disconnect the various wires and terminal blocks currently required to get the sparebike usable in darkness since my various CatEye EL-5xxs stopped working and holding their own cells at the same time. There will still be some bodged wiring required with the dynamo lights.seeing as the cable supplied with the rear light is just slightly too short to reach from the back of the rear mudguard to the front of the front rack but the need to house a holderful of AA cells in the saddlebag is now gone.
