Cannabis again!

Coughing too badly to go out again, so all I could do was mess with stack focus again. This time I could clearly see the focus had moved in successive shots, but there weren't enough shots to reach the edge of the label. The label was at about 45 degrees so that with this lens an in focus shot of the top of the label was out of focus at the bottom. The software assembled this final image from 6 identically set up shots with focus set at six different points. It takes quite a long time to process.

I think you can see that for macro shots of things that don't move it could be useful. The darker arts of Magic Lantern are still in the shadows. If you are interested you will find them here. Unfortunately it is only for Canon.
