Stirlingshire Santa

I must admit this silly Santa Claus, made out of painted hay bales on a local farm, made me smile. It's not often one sees a black Father Christmas, but why not?!

Minty joined me on my visit to friends Anne and Drummond to have lunch and exchange gifts. Anne broke her ankle last week, slipping on a wet concrete slab outside the back door, so she was confined to the sofa and Drum did all the preparations for lunch, bless him.

Missing Strictly already! It looks as if 'Britain's Favourite 20 Christmas Carols' might put me in a festive mood.
