Duchess of Sutherland

I was looking up something else yesterday when I spotted that Princess Coronation Class 6233 'Duchess of Sutherland' was coming to a railway near me today.  It had been at Southall for repairs and was on its way back to its home base of Butterley in Derbyshire together with its support coaches.  Having been at Southall for a little while the second support coach had been badly attacked by graffiti 'artists' but as I was shooting into the sun it isn't immediately obvious here.  Annoying for the owners though, as it will need a complete repaint.

Here it is passing Ampthill, just north of Flitwick station.
