Solstice Stroll (Day 1689)

I wandered up the hill with the woofers as the sun rose this morning (see extra). Nice to see a bit of colour in the sky on the solstice.
Back at home the morning was spent blethering to Luke (Wheeliebloke) who arrived last night to spend Christmas with us.
The woofer wander was a bit different from the normal walk at Lyde, and instead of sticking to the road I followed a path up onto the hills, and when the path petered out, I trudged through deep heather and soft moss. It was fairly hard going, but the view at the top was worth it.
Later on,  my beautiful wife and I are dragging Luke off for a curry.
