Wintry flight

I was taken to Lacock Abbey in Wiltshire today by my lovely godmother and her husband, who I'm staying with in Salisbury. It was a very grey and wet day, but the abbey was lovely (have to confess I became more excited about it when I learned some scenes from the first two Harry Potter movies had been filmed there!!). Used to be owned by the bloke who made the first ever photographic negative...in 1835! Very interesting exhibition about his life, work and experiments.

It was an absolutely freezing day and I was very glad of a warming pub lunch, complete with steaming mugs of mulled wine!
