Frozen canal and the dog pram.

As Maria was setting off for the college bus at 8:15 am the sky was a gorgeous shade of pink.
So I hurriedly dressed and went to High St. bridge to capture the sunrise.
It looked more impressive in reality, but this frozen canal view was the best I could do.
A little later, I was delivering the morning papers, and I came across this sweet doggie in a splendid contraption that looked like a doggie pram.
I am no expert, but I think he is a white westie.
He looked at me as if to say, you have clearly never seen one of these before.
At least he was protected from the morning chill. It is -2C but feels much colder.
