I wonder if this is the same caterpillar that I blipped in November? I found it in the same oak tree, when emptying the compost again.

As to the bee-cam, the footage is HERE, on Vimeo. It's only one minute, and I included the passing skink for a bit of light entertainment. Those bees are fast! Even in slow motion, she's pretty quick! So now I know that the larvae over-winter in the nest, I will have to be very careful that no one moves the rock and accidentally kills them.
