Candlelight

Down at the church twice today. Attended the funeral of a long-standing and faithful church member in the morning and then a Carol Concert in the evening.

Managed to get a food shopping and two lots of washing done in-between times.

The Carol Concert (pictured) was advertised as 'Carols by Candlelight' but it was much more than that. We sang some carols, had readings of a number of festive poems, heard organ pieces by JS Bach, Pachelbel and others, and tasted some non-alcoholic mulled drinks and savoury nibbles. A very pleasant way to end a busy day.
