Finish line....

We’ve made it to the end of term. Done. Made it. There.

She slept in my bed and begrudgingly got up this morning, though when she realised it was Wear What You Like Day she was more enthusiastic. She chose to wear her polar bear onesie with slippers and was delighted at the prospect, if not at actually going.

I pick her up at 3 on Fridays, to take her to ballet, but she didn’t have ballet today and I don’t like to confuse them by changing arrangements. Today B picked her up as a surprise! She took katie to do a couple of jobs before I met them for a cup of tea, tea loaf and the annual decorating of their little Christmas tree.

Katie was extremely tired and narky tonight. She was one seriously grumpy girl so ended up snuggling for an early night.
