Flower Friday: Lily

Today we drove through the rain to Macclesfield, to visit my Editor's Mum in her care home over the weekend (sadly her Alzheimers is now such that taking her with us to Newcastle for Christmas would cause too much extra confusion). We were fortunate that the traffic wasn't too bad at all.

I only had time to take a quick Flower Friday blip before we left home. The flowers we were given by John & Deb Gravett over 2 weeks ago, when they stayed here for a couple of nights, are still looking amazingly good - so here's one of the lovely lillies.
