Mists & Moistiness

Up to the airport and son#1 safely ensconced - in fact he's now asleep on the sofa! No Christmas frenzy whatsoever in Cork airport but a very good photographic exhibition.

Extraordinary weather on the way up - I was in and out of the car hundreds of times before even getting to Durrus. Sunshine in Ahakista, weird mists en route, rain in Durrus and then a massive rainbow. Followed by pockets of thick fog, bright fog and astonishing cloud inversions and a fair amount of rain. The wind turbines emerging from the cloud inversion looked like Glastonbury Tor or Golgotha! 

Today's pic is the estuary approaching Durrus.The little floating thingy is to do with fish farming and spot the cormorant.
