Wild Walkers

On our pre-Christmas lunch walk.
Ludicrous rain overnight, EA flood warnings this morning and it is still raining.
Took refuge in this barn for our mulled wine and mince pies. The farmer (in wellingtons) joined us for a chat before we headed out into the rain again.
Waterlogged paths and the prospect of crossing two ploughed fields prompted a unanimous decision to shorten the walk and head for the pub.....
